In reguard to what tyrant said: i agree HTF has more tools then i did at the time.. however the game is significantly diffrent... more punches more defensive manouvers.. etc.. nothing i can really do about that

if were trying to compare ppl lets not go there b/c everyone thinks they are the hottest shit to walk the earth...

p.s. p4p the best fighter i have ever faught, hands down vargas.. my prime was the same as his and we had absolute wars.. i remember going 2 rounds in a row without landing a punch (tell me thats not impressive)... easily the most underrated figher ever... and HOF'er in my books.

oh yes I do...and like Jermain, I am pissed that Vargas stepped away...you two were neck and neck at the top and I felt he was on his way to HOF quality

Hah, two of the best fighters P4P in the history of OB trying to 1up each other...

you were both MAJOR forces in this game and had similar qualities...both dominating quality opposition...

Personally I think HTF overall has more tools/skills in his shed as a fighter, however Lab was dominant with a single title when several HOFers and elite fighters were at their peak and playing often...

it is a tough one...

I have had this on my computer(s) since I began OB. I think it was me knocking down Streetbully. This file/image found its way into all of my backup folders and CDs/DVDs for years.

Has nothing to do with the gameplay. I have played through it all and have adjusted through it all. Just not what I used to be nor putting in the effort that I used to (and would like to).

When not playing that much, then coming back every once in a while and just losing to everybody I want to step away.

I have never had a problem with gameplay changes. Always liked the challenges.

Haven't been fighting the way I used to for months now and have not been active like I used to. While I am being beaten a lot (owned), they are losses to great players and ever improving up and comers.

It has been nice playing OB with you guys. I wish I could put the "Ultra Gay Boxing" effort in as I used to. But I cannot.

I will definitely be checking the forums as usual. This retirement will last.

you basically answered your own question..dominance and longevity...however since there are no specific rules and people have their own opinions about what classifies as a HOF career, things have seemed unbalanced
