Time switch 20 years later:Mikkel has created new shiny singleplayer and 20 new faces and punches. He now works on 2D 10 hours a day.
Same 4-5 people come online.

Hmm I just took massive amount of time out to fix freeze and forum spam. Im taking a break from 2D. Might come back to the singleplayer issue later.

Its like if I fix one thing, people just want me to fix the next. If I fix singleplayer, people will just ask about something else. Like leagues, automated tournaments, more faces, bodytypes, backgrounds, new punches etc etc.
It just never stops.
I see your point with singleplayer though..but I think you overestimate its value for new players.
Singleplayer was there for years, and it didnt really bring more players in.

Yea alot of stuff "should" be done. I dont have time for it.
Tell you what. Find someone who is willing to come up with a 3 months salary, and I will do it.

Trust me, people Will notice and they will come online more and stay online. It needs to stay that way for them to come online and then stay online but the numbers will build.

When game doesnt works, people play constantly, then come online complaining about it like crazy. Then WHEN it works, no one is online.

SO THE ANTI-FREEZE CAN BE TESTED !

Seems like it works now.
Had to change "kernel" on linux so it would be faster on real time traffic.
But it seems like it works now !

That didnt work..now instead of freezing, after a while control is really delayed.
I have to roll it back to how it was. So right now I'm working on recompiling the linux OS so I can change it back to how it was on the old server.

I have tried something new but need testers !

Plan was pretty much to do all that..then suddenly stupid things like giga-spam came along. Had to write a program that could delete that(because default behavior of the forum was clicking delete, then it asked "do you really want to delete this ?". Pretty dumb when there is around 100K spam messages).
Then suddenly freeze came along. And I haven't figured it out yet.
Then suddenly some people couldnt create a new boxer. Solved that now, it's a java 7 thing. And so on and so on.
So it's not like I don't do anything.

Yea basically the new Java 7 messed it up. I'm working on fixing it though.
