johnbludger wrote:Getting back to the issue at hand. Singleplayer is a need not only to keep people playing the game but to let new fighters practice the controls and to get used to the game. A tutorial would be really good, either a scripted one(like an interactive tutorial) or something that they can watch off of youtube and just have the link put into the website. You might bring in a little bit more people then before and at least they will have a chance to practice and get better and like the game more instead of getting their asses handed to then they rage quit and never come back. You might not think that its important but it is. You have to look at it from a newcomers perspective. They don't want to fight veterans right off the back. They want to learn the controls and fight the CPU till they get better then they will fight real fighters.
i agree in every word of good ol' John.
Redneck "agrees" gotta speed up dev time !!!

Dont take that message to serious. All it means it that you can't play peer to peer because of firewall or router issues. You will play through the server instead which in most cases is sufficient.
Problem is if you or your opponent has a bad ping to the server, meaning one of your are far away from the server.
Server is in Germany, and if you are in for example, Australia, you would have a terrible ping. In that case enabling p2p would help you when you play against someone in your area.
What you need to do is to open the specific port on the router (port 11010).
How you do that varies from router to router, but it's not really that difficult.

Anyone is welcome to adv OB. As for your advice "there are plenty of options, just research" is not really helpful.

Where are the millions of players you talk about ?
1. I am more worth than 1 million other players.
2. Man, you got the very good boxing game that delivers a real challenge for boxing fans. The problem is that 999 999 dont know that the game exist. And thats just your fault because you are a noob in advertisement
3. I bet you are angry vs. me now because i told you that
Angry for telling me what ? You said yourself that it's a marketing problem, not singleplayer problem.
Anyway, going to put it on then..but might take a month or two. And you gotta live with the sucky AI.
