No way in hell. I only do grappling matches (Judo, wrestling, BJJ, submission wrestling) be is amateur of pro level of grappling competition. I am not stepping into the ring to do MMA because they dont pay well enough to even cover insurance fees (even starting out in UFC you only get like 5000 dollars per match although it goes way up quick if you win and prove to be good draw) and if anything MMA is a risky business. You can make so very good $$$ but it is way risky business.

I even dislike submission wrestling a bit just because rules allow heel hooks and there is a reason Judo and BJJ have banned heel hooks (you dont feel pain before damage is done and heel hooks put stress on knee against natural movement of that joint... breaks things too easily. Compare that to arm bars where pressure is put along the natural movement of elbow joint - much safer and way easier to regulate pressure and opponent has time to tap.)

I only train grappling with strikes for self defense reasons (to tweak my grappling technique to take into account opponent that punches) and out of fun. Yeah I roll with some MMA fighters and teach them some ground grappling but that is it for me when it comes to MMA. I like watching it

I know my grappling be it with punches or not but when it comes to stand up striking I am NOB, NEWBIE, NOOB

and will remain so.

More like 3k a fight to start. And even less in some places.

Most of my friends started out at 1k a fight and if they win there first 3 they get bumped up tp 2500 per match. got to pay your dues

MMA will never pass Boxing if it continues to pay so shitty. If MMA is supposedly more popular than boxing where does all the money go? Oscar got 50 mil for his fight and Floyd near 30 mil off PPV revenue. If PPV revenue for UFC events > than 80 million, why the hell do the best of the best get paid a meager $750,000?

MMA fighters deserve to get payed way more than boxers cuz MMA is way more dangerous than boxing.

hey i wasnt flaming u im at a healthy wieght for my hieght im 5ft 7 and 20 something body mass im skinny im jus saying i look a bit bigger then u thats all.
I seen ur type of build loads i know for a fact u cant handle many body shots because of ur skinny frame tell me what it feels like when a small banger hits u there mate

I always spar guys that outwiegh me by 30lbs+ because theres not many guys my wieght so i know i can take a shot.
Im going in the army and gna be boxing in there so il be amatuer by next year but im doing this army thing now so im gna have to wait a lil longer to become a amatuer because my medical at my club gna take to long.

I have took headshots and gave shots of my own back but i do notice i mark easier when fighting heavier guys.

but what your doing right now is no more impressive than the millions of other kids who do this weekly, even daily. the only difference is that they have done this years earlier than you.

War Josh.. Congrats Reaper. You have one of the longest amateur careers I've seen without ever having a fight. It's kinda sad.

Oh yea Reaper, I'm not sure if the army you are joining is like the one in the USA, but make sure you think it through cause here in the USA once you enlist you cant quit till you fullfill the contract.

i must fufil 4 years of my contract.
I can buy myself out or break a bone to get out if i want lol.
Its gay cause i wana be amatuer now but my medical wil take to long so no point in going amatuer with my club
