He made him fight him fight landed the cleaner harder more eye catching shots slowed calslappy down big time kncked him down, bruised him, cut him, staggered him and WAS NEVER HURT and traded frequently with him... not bad for a 43 year old version of B-Hop. He was robbed twice after outboxing taylor and lost a close decision many thought he won including me to calslappy. It seems like the judges don't want hopkins to retire in peace.... anyways i think he will wait for the dawson tarver winner then dominate who ever of those two bums wins followed by roy "kid coma" jones and then retire in peace.

Calzaghe also hit Hopkins more than anybody esle has in his entire career.
So based on FACTS please tell me where your biased opinion stacks up?. Calzaghe has yet again proven people wrong but of course some Americans won't accept a Euro fighter being great. Lennox Lewis also didn't get the respect he deserved.
I don't see how you can win a fight throwing a shot here and there cleaner shot or not then hold everytime Calzaghe tries to land a shot, the man was petrified like he was having a prime Tyson chraging at him. Fighting like a coward deserves a L on the record, his negative style also cost him against Taylor which I think is right.
You use the predictable age excuse, no one was saying he was old when he beat Tarver and Ronald Wright, it only becomes an issue when he loses to a brit right?. If he'd won it would have been called an outstanding achievement , so Calzaghe can't win. Hopkins looked in better condition than Calzaghe, if anything you could argue he was fitter.

It's his ability to make boxing look like crap, making every single one of his fights a total bore. Has anyone seriously seen a great fight with JC ?
You can use the Padded record about almost every boxer, it's also very rare for two great fighters to fight each other in their primes which is why Fraizier, Foreman and Ali's era was so great. Infact if you look at Hopkins, He beat a washed up Trinidad, Tarver and Oscar and lost to a prime Roy Jones and Taylor and If I'm not mistaken it was Hopkins negative tactics that made the match boring with his persistent holding. He also kept saying Calzaghe was a homeboy, never fought outside the UK and just how many times has he fought outside the US?,0.
You have never seen a exciting Calzaghe match?,you obviously haven't seen his matches against Eubank, Mitchell, Lacy and Woodhall. Just like every other boxer including Mayweather they have bad nights depending on the person they are fighting. I guarantee if Hopkins wanted a war Calzaghe would have duly obliged.
